Annecy, the Pearl of French-Alps is located in Haute-Savoie region, few kilometers away from Geneva. Old Annecy was a settlement of the Romans in 10th century.
Here, you can visit the Palais de l’Isle, a castle of Geneva’s administrative headquarters until the World War II which transfer to a courthouse and now a museum. (It’s the picture above)
You can stroll by the beautiful turquoise colour Lake of Annecy. If I have not mistaken, people also call it as the French Riviera of the North. If you are with your partner, walk hand in hand with your love ones across the Pont des Amours (Lovers’ Bridge)
Last but not list, you can go to the Imperial Palace and the baroque Cathedral of Saint-Pierre across the lake.
